Workshops and training

Since 2002, I have presented a variety of workshops and presentations for educational publishers around the world. My roles include:

• presenting webinars on topics related to maths in the classroom, such as problem solving
• running interactive in-person teacher training workshops
• running marketing and promotional workshops for educational publishers launching materials in African, Caribbean and Middle Eastern markets
• facilitating interactive sessions on innovative classroom approaches to mathematics
• training new author teams on how to plan and present manuscripts
• co-ordinating workshops to map out curriculum coverage in an existing course and plan out new adaptations or editions with an author team
• liaising with curriculum officers and teachers to help design new courses relevant to specific markets.

I have been lucky to be able to visit and work with teachers, ministry officials and publishers in a variety of countries including Botswana, Jamaica, Belize, Trinidad, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.
